Picture some thirty years in the future, when the accumulation of “friends” on facebook will have reached gross levels, suddenly people will start to die of natural causes. This will start slowly and increase, with progression in this rate following a poisson distrinution. I foresee this catalysing a mass Facebook induced wave of suicide as people’s friends and “friend” count steadily begins to drop… possibly even exponentially
