The Land of the Free

Our future is entirely in our hands.  We have the power to create, transform and reinvent what we want our future to look like. Here are my thoughts on where we need to go from here to get THERE.

Our differences are our strengths.  We can only see what we see with our own limited knowledge and experience.  To gain a broader perspective and wider range of wisdom, we must embrace and accept people from all walks of life, cultures, creeds, races, and religions.  There is something to learn from everyone.  No one culture, creed, race or religion is better than another and each has something to offer.  Each has wisdom, experience and knowledge to share that can profoundly change our world.  We must openly accept and welcome other cultures life experiences into our own, so we can begin to understand their perspective and to help us understand theirs.  It is our responsibility as fellow human beings to gain deeper wisdom and seek new alternatives from sources we have yet to even remotely consider.  We have the potential to heal our world and must carefully plan now before it is too late. 

 Some are highly educated with many titles after their name, yet are very unhappy in this life.  Others have lived off the land passing down generations of wisdom for survival should our resources become limited.  They have profound wisdom yet lack material things.  It takes ALL of us coming together, focusing positively on these differences that will bring us new information and shed light on how to proceed in the future.  We must choose love and compassion to lead the way.  Human beings in all capacities, much choose words carefully that help build and re-build a stronger world, rather than words of destruction and hate.   The media has a crucial role in the messages they send out. They can use it to do good or they can use it to instill crisis and fear.  They have a huge responsibility to use it for the good of all, in ways that can help heal our earth and our relationships with domestic and foreign fellow human beings.  The media must turn things around to promote positive stories and good things happening across the globe which restore hope and faith rather than the negative images portrayed daily. 

I truly believe there is a thousand fold more goodness on earth than evil, and that it is for the good of all to restore the balance that we have greatly lost in the past decade.  This includes holding the banking industries and credit card companies accountable to a high level of ethics, and reinstating the moral fiber that the United States was built on.   It includes having communication and media reports screened, researched and proofed so that the media is responsible for reporting a higher ratio of positive images than the overpowering negative images viewed today, and that the truth is told rather than an individual’s opinion or limited knowledge.  Most of all, it requires each person on this planet to uphold a moral obligation to step up and do their part at a higher level than ever before.  Each must help transform, heal, preserve, and implement the positive strengths found in our differences.   There is no time to waste and much work to be done.

This is not the world we inherited...this is the world we CREATED.  We COLLECTIVELY have the knowledge, power and wisdom to set it all right side up again to make it better.  Will we commit to it?  Are we willing to do the hard work it will take?  Corporate America, the media,  citizens of the US, and fellow human beings who were all created equal, (no matter what end of the earth they live on), .are we universally ready to make a change?  I believe we are and believe millions across the world ready to take a stand.  With the power of global technology there no longer need to be barriers to communication and understanding.  We have the tools, the power and the knowledge to collectively transform the world, TODAY.  Why not start using what we have and go from there? 

From this new beginning of the passtheball website, we have the potential to receive ideas from all over the world, summarize them and post a “POSITIVE FEEDBACK” weekly report sharing ideas that will heal our world.  In this format, there will not be room for negative ideas, or complaining, only ways to move forward that will universally make our world a better place.  I look forward to reading this newly formed blog and all the goodness and restoration it can and will bring to our world.  Thanks for giving me the opportunity to post my thoughts.  I am just one person.  I truly believe that one person can make a difference.  Each person that shares an idea allows us one more opportunity to create our future in a positive transformational way.  I look forward to being a part of it.
