I believe it would be asome if an art workshop could be set up for the poor where artists of all ages could go voluntarily and teach about art to kids or young people who don’t have enough money or resources to recieve and education. By setting up this workshop not only would we be promoting and teaching these people about art and culture, but also we could help them discover or develop a talent that could later on be useful for them.

Talk with the city parks and rec center and any existing community centers to see what programs are already offered. If an art program is not offered, ask how you can start one or get funding to start one. You may even go to a local uni or college to see if there are art students or teaching credential students that need to rack up volunteer hours in a classroom setting. These folks would be able to provide the talent you need to teach art to kids in the community.

I think this is a great idea and it would be awesome to have local artists sponsor “workshop” days to expose people to how art can be used to express oneself.

Yes, That is a very good idea. I think there should be on-line art classes as well as physical classes. Art not only helps develop your sense of style, and taste, it also helps you in your technical abilities to create something beautiful. It also makes you excercise your mind... to see beyond than what is simply  there, and it makes you express yourself in may ways. t is truely an amazing field!
